A common cause is an IP address conflict or incorrect network configuration.
The Gremsy payload uses USB Ethernet to connect to web apps which requires a manual IP configuration on your computer. If the IP address is not set correctly, the connection may be unstable or unavailable.
You need to manually assign an IP address to your computer’s network adapter.
For Windows 10
Connect the VIO USB-C port to your computer
Open Settings → Network & Internet
Click Change adapter options
Select Remote NDIS Compatible Device
Click Properties → Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)
Set the IP address to:
192.168.55.X (e.g., 192.168.55.110)
For Windows 11
Connect the VIO USB-C port to your computer
Open Settings → Network & Internet
Select Remote NDIS Compatible Device #4
Click IPv4
Set the IP address to:
192.168.55.X (e.g., 192.168.55.110)
Important Notes
Ensure the value of “X” does not conflict with other devices on your network
Use the same subnet (192.168.55.xxx) for proper communication
If the issue still persists, please contact support@gremsy.com or submit a ticket via this portal for further assistance.
