If you are experiencing issues with your gimbal or payload and cannot find a suitable solution in the Knowledge Base, please go through the following checklist before contacting the Support Team. This will help identify common issues and speed up the support process.
1. Ensure Firmware & Software Are Up to Date
Verify that your gimbal/payload is running the latest firmware version
Ensure you are using the latest version of gTune
Update if necessary and restart the system
2. Check Gimbal Balance (Only for Gimbal)
Make sure the camera and lens are properly balanced on all axes
An unbalanced setup may cause instability or abnormal behavior
3. Verify Power Supply
Ensure the power source meets the required voltage and current specifications
Check all cables and connectors for secure connections
Avoid unstable or insufficient power sources
4. Perform Gyro Calibration (via gTune)
Connect the gimbal to gTune
Run Gyro Calibration
Place the gimbal on a stable and level surface during calibration
5. Perform Auto Tune
Connect the gimbal or payload to your PC, and press SEARCH.
Then go to BASIC → STIFFNESS and press AUTO TUNE 2–3 times to find the best parameter.
If auto tune is unavailable, tune manually: Start around 20 per axis, raise until oscillation appears, then back off. Keep Tilt < Roll < Pan.
6. Restart and Recheck
Power cycle the system after completing the steps above
Reconnect all devices and verify the issue again
