This tutorial is used when users want to re-calibrate or replace the IMU. After entering the original offset or trying to calibrate by hitting the calibrate button, if you cannot get good level for the IMU, please follow the instruction below.
You will need a remote to control the gimbal axes easier. Make sure the gimbal is in Lock mode
You’re able to adjust the value of accel offset X, Y, Z by enabling the Advance switch in IMU accel setting on the app, then touch to increase/decrease the offset number you want.
Accel X offset
Put the bubble on the roll bar, if the bubble is OFF, adjust the X offset until the bubble go back to the center.
Accel Y offset
Put the bubble on the tilt plate, if the bubble is OFF, adjust the Y offset until the bubble go back to the center.
Use the remote to rotate tilt axis 90 degree from home position (make sure the tilt rotation limit is is from -90 to 90 degree), put the bubble on the tilt plate, if the bubble is OFF, adjust the Z offset until the bubble go back to the center.
Finally, let’s pan the gimbal around and check the level again to make sure the bubble is still at center at any positions.
